ZIMBABWE NATIONAL HOLIDAY RULES:
Under the Public Holidays and Prohibition of Business Act, if a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is declared a holiday.
Additionally, according to the Labour Act section 14C, employers must provide a rest day and pay for public holidays. If employees work on those days, they receive at least double their ordinary rate.
Official statutory public holidays in Zimbabwe are defined by law (Public Holidays Act) and include only Christian and national holidays (e.g., Easter, Africa Day, Heroes' Day, Christmas).
